Memorial Stone Foundation Installation Fees The information below is provided to assist
family members of individuals interred at Mount Hope Cemetery with the process of installing
memorial stones. All memorial stones in Mount Hope Cemetery
require the installation of a concrete foundation prior to the installation of the memorial
stone. In accordance with regulations established by the New Jersey State Cemetery Board, all
foundations for memorial
stone at Mount Hope Cemetery are installed by the cemetery, rather than by the
contractor who creates or delivers the stone. Most of the orders for memorial stone
foundation installations at Mount Hope Cemetery are
made by memorial stone companies, rather than
by individuals. However, if you have a question
about foundation installations, please do not

or by calling 609-575-0032. Foundation Installation Fee: The fee, including materials and labor, for installing a memorial stone foundation is based on the surface area of the foundation. For example, the foundation for a memorial stone with a base measuring 32 inches by 12 inches would be $384.00, (32 inches x 12 inches = 384 square inches, x $1.00 = $384.00.) Once the foundation has been installed, the
area around the foundation will be filled in with topsoil and grass seed
will be planted. Any additional landscaping services, such as
the removal of any bushes or trees from the gravesite, or re-grading of the
grave, may require an additional fee. An estimate for these additional
services can be made upon request.
